Suvi Vepsä, MA, is a Doctoral Researcher in Art History at the University of Turku, Finland. Their research focuses on the political potential of Multispecies Art for cultivating new ways of being, doing, and knowing amid the environmental and ethico-political troubles of the Anthropocene. The research builds on their long-term work with Finland-based multispecies artists in various projects, through which they examine different modes of resistance, ways of collaboration, and ethics of love and care in art-making and research practices. The research is supported by the Kone Foundation.
