Elena Cirkovic

Elena observes and engages with complex interactions of Earth - outer space systems. Her work explores limitations of engagement with the unknown and unpredictable. This acknowledges that certain forms of knowledge cannot be fully attained prior to action, particularly when confronting complex, irreversible potentialities. Her approach to biorat is to avoid building an ontology of relations that imposes human sentiment on other biotic and abiotic entities—including ideas of “kinship”.
